Making Chicken stir fry is savory and fresh dish that is a staple in my home it take me 25 minutes to make. This allows me to get in a delicious meal even if I’m super busy.

This stir fry combines savory tender chicken that is marinated with easy ingredients cooked with fresh crips vegetables serve on top of fluffy steamed rice that bring the meal full circle.

WHAT TYPE OF CHICKEN IS BEST FOR CHICKEN STIR FRY?

Well, there are 2 options first option is white meat which is chicken breast which is super lean and juicy if not overcooked.

The 2 options, and my personal favorite are dark meat chicken thighs a little more fatty but packed full of flavor and a big plus is that if it’s over cooked it remains super juicy.

  • 2 Cups Jasmine rice
  • 3 Cups Water

  • 1 lbs Chicken
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1/2 tsp white pepper
  • 1 tbsp corn starch

  • 1/4 each Cabbage or 3 cups of cabbage mix
  • 1 cup Sliced Mushroom
  • 2 each Diced Large carrots

HOW TO MAKE CHICKEN STIR FRY

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Wash 2 cups of jasmine rice until the water runs clear, then put it in a rice pot add water then bring it up to a boil give it a quick mix, and then cover and cook on low heat for 25 minutes.

2. Slice or dice chicken to bite sauce pieces then marinate it with soy sauce, hoisin sauce, white pepper, corn starch and mix it well.

3. Cut your cabbage, carrots, and mushroom, you can also use any other vegetable that you have or want to use.

4.To a hot pan add 3 tbsp oil and cook chicken for 5 minutes, add carrots and mushroom and cook for 2 more minutes, and lastly add cabbage and cook for 1 minutes season with salt to taste, quick note it doesn’t take to long for cabbage to be cooked you don’t want it soggy.
