Carne is Salsa Verde
Carne is salsa verde (meat and potatoes) is one of the childhood meals I love to make to this day. The combination of tender steak with soft potatoes tossed in a medium spicy salsa just works perfectly together.
Carne in salsa verde (meat and potatoes)
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs bottom round steak
- 5 small potatoes
- 2 cups salsa verde
- 1 tbsp chicken bouillon
Instructions
- Serve this meal with tortillas, rice or beans for better balanced meal
HOW TO MAKE CARNE IN SALSA VERDE
INSTRUCTION
1.Start by dicing your meat and gold potatoes to bite size pieces.
- To a hot pan add 2 tbsp oil and cook meat for 2 minutes season with salt and add your potatoes and cook for 2 more minutes
3.After you cook the potatoes you will add salsa Verde, water and chicken bouillon, then bring it up to a boil and cover and simmer at low heat for 25 minutes
4.Serve it with rice, beans or eat it like a taco and enjoy.
