Kung Pao Chicken
kung pao chicken is a classic Chinese take-out dish that I love and have to get at least once a week. This stir-fry dish has so many flavors and textures that make it so irresistible.
This chicken dish in simples for is a stir-fried chicken with peanuts and chili that gives it its pao.
Kung pao chicken
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs chicken
- 1/2 tsp white pepper
- 1 tbsp soy sauce

- 1 Bunch Green onion
- 11 each Dried red chili
- 1/2 cup Peanuts (dry not salted)
- 3 each Garlic cloves (mince)

- 2 tbsp Dark soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 3 tbsp Brown sugar

HOW TO MAKE KUNG PAO
INSTRUCTIONS
1.Start by slicing and dicing chicken breast into medium-sized cubes, velvet your chicken by adding soy sauce, corn starch, and white pepper in a bowl for 10 minutes.
2.For the sauce place Dark soy sauce, soy sauce, rice water, corn starch and brown sugar to a bowl and
mix well
3.Slice green onion and red chili and set to side for later use.
4.To a hot pan or wok spray 1 tbsp. canola oil and cook chicken breast for 3 minutes, the add garlic, peanuts, dried red chili and cook for 3 more minutes, after that add green onion and sauce mix and cook for extra 1 minute the sauce will thicken and coat the chicken really well.
